Founding Research Engineer
Full-time | Onsite | Reports to Founders

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead research on the development of large language models and agentic systems scalable to millions of users and billions of tasks
- Research and design LLM-based autonomous, scalable agents and agentic components: memory, context engineering, tool usage, multi-agent coordination
- Build data generation and testing pipelines to ensure LLM reliability and accuracy.
- Experiment with LLM prompting, finetuning, and orchestration to improve agent performance
- Agent architecture development and scaffolding including data collection workflows and management, performance evaluation and benchmarking
- Drive thought leadership in LLM and AI agent research through publications and industry engagement
Requirements:
- Practical experience working with LLMs, with proficiency in frameworks like Pytorch, Jax, or Tensorflow
- Hands-on experience or publications in building applications and evaluations related to AI agents such as tool-use, text2SQL, browser agents, coding agents and GUI agents
- Adept at interpreting research literature and quickly turning new ideas into prototypes
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years of experience addressing sophisticated ML problems, either in a research setting or product development
- PhD / MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or a related field, with a strong focus on natural language processing or machine learning.
