About Nimblemind.ai

Nimblemind.ai is revolutionizing healthcare by empowering providers to harness the full potential of clinical data. Our cloud-based SaaS platform simplifies data integration, structuring, and labeling, allowing healthcare providers to maintain security and privacy while unlocking AI-driven insights. Our mission is to enable smarter and more personalized patient care through robust Healthcare AI.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Agentic AI Engineer to support the development of intelligent agents that power our AI pipeline. You’ll work alongside experienced AI engineers and platform developers to design, implement, and evaluate task-specific agents that automate complex ML operations. You’ll build tools that help agents reason across clinical data modalities, interact with modeling services, and support human-in-the-loop decision making. This role is perfect for someone with a deep interest in AI systems, orchestration, and healthcare impact.

Key Responsibilities

Agent Development & Workflow Integration

  • Help design and implement autonomous agents that support tasks such as feature curation, pipeline orchestration, and model validation
  • Develop modular prompts, reasoning chains, and decision graphs tailored to healthcare use cases
  • Work with APIs like Google’s Agent Builder to implement goal-driven logic

Agent-Model Interaction

  • Enable agents to interface with model development tools (e.g., trigger Vertex AI pipelines, monitor training jobs, run evaluation scripts)
  • Assist in integrating LLM-based agents with retrieval tools, structured inputs, and downstream ML systems
  • Create lightweight interfaces for agents to generate and revise structured outputs (e.g., model cards, ICD mappings, report summaries)

Tooling & Monitoring

  • Develop tools that track agent behavior, log reasoning traces, and ensure output safety and interpretability
  • Set up agent testing harnesses and benchmarks across synthetic and real clinical scenarios
  • Support workflows where agents collaborate with humans (e.g., clinicians validating model predictions)

Collaboration & Learning

  • Partner with AI/ML, MLOps, and platform teams to co-develop agent workflows
  • Contribute to the refinement of Nimblemind’s agent framework, prompt libraries, and routing logic
  • Participate in stand-ups, reviews, and design discussions focused on scalable, secure, and explainable agent design

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Interest in intelligent agents, orchestration frameworks, or multi-step reasoning workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., GCP, Vertex AI, LangChain)
  • Curiosity about healthcare data, clinical workflows, or multimodal reasoning
  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or MedLM) and agent toolkits (AgentBuilder, AutoGen, LangGraph, CrewAI)
  • Understanding of chain-of-thought reasoning, prompt tuning, or context window management
  • Exposure to structured healthcare data (e.g., EMR, labs, diagnoses) or unstructured inputs (e.g., clinical notes, wearable summaries)
  • Familiarity with evaluation metrics for agent correctness, latency, or failure modes

Why Join Nimblemind.ai?

  • Be part of a mission-driven company shaping the future of healthcare.
  • Lead the development of groundbreaking products while contributing directly to their design & creation.
  • Collaborate with a world-class team of healthcare and technology innovators.
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity in a fast-growing startup.
