Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing SaaS organization in the AI automation space, is expanding their engineering group and looking for a strong Software Engineer to help build and scale their next-generation AI-powered customer experience platform. This role sits on a small, high-performing team focused on applied large language model (LLM) systems, intelligent automation, and customer-facing product features that make enterprise support faster, smarter, and more intuitive.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver new AI features such as intelligent ticket routing, real-time language translation, and configurable automation workflows.
- Enhance retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, improving vector search, embeddings, and content ranking to boost performance.
- Build internal frameworks and infrastructure to integrate multiple LLMs, streamline evaluation, and expand platform capabilities.
- Work closely with customers and product managers to understand how support teams operate and deliver practical, high-value AI solutions.
- Collaborate across engineering, research, and product groups in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, experimentation, and cultural growth within a team that values creativity, accountability, and technical depth.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally from smaller teams or fast-moving product organizations.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful, customer-facing software end-to-end.
- Exposure to LLM-based tools, RAG workflows, or AI agent frameworks.
- Solid computer science fundamentals—data structures, APIs, distributed systems.
- Entrepreneurial, highly adaptable, and motivated to build in an environment where the roadmap evolves quickly.
- Strong communicator with a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NLP or ML-based product features.
- Familiarity with tools like LangChain, vector databases, or prompt engineering concepts.
- Prior work with startups or early-stage product teams.
